Building a Studio Archive: A Workshop for Artists

This workshop provides an overview of how build an archive using simple tools and procedures in order to create searchable digital records and establish systems for documentation and handling.

The workshop will cover:
– Techniques for managing digital images including digital file organization, sustainable file formats, and embedded information
– How create and use inventory numbers to track artwork, organize files, and order searchable digital records
– How to review database management systems in order to match your resources and technical capabilities

This workshop is free and open to the public.
