In 1968, artist Aden Solway’s Uncle Rueben disappeared. This came as a particular shock to those within his concentric family circle who had cared for Rueben deeply. Marking the fiftieth year of his disappearance, Aden Solway (BFA, 2018) conducts primary research on the mystery of Rueben’s life. In the process, he creates chimeric objects with the assistance of his immediate family.
