Paint the River: Plein Air Painting Festival

Opening Saturday, August 18th, from 8AM - 5PM
Painters, collectors, and those who love the Chicago River… please join the festivities for a one-day paint out and exhibit by the Plein Air Painters Chicago. A portion of proceeds benefit Friends of the Chicago River and the Bridgehouse Museum.
8am-12pm: Painters will be set up all along the main stem to complete their art. Please visit those along the riverwalk, bridges, and adjacent areas to see the process.
1pm-5pm: Artwork will be displayed and for sale inside and outside of the museum. Select pieces will be on display and for sale through September.
Note: This event is not for those who want to participate in the plein air painting. This is for the exhibition in and outside the museum after the painting concludes. Your advanced Eventbrite ticket (see link) allows you free admission to the Bridgehouse Museum during the exhibition time on this date only. Thank you.
