Eat Your Words: an Edible Books event

For the SECOND year, we are holding an Edible Books event!
Artists, food-lovers, and civilians gather to create food that either looks like a book or is a play on the title of a book. (Where else are puns this welcome?) The only rule – everything has to be edible. The event will open at 1pm, there will be an hour and a half of viewing and lighthearted judging, and there will be prizes, including
– Letterpressed business cards or stationery
– An autographed copy of Brandon Graham’s novel, Missing People
– Prints and more!
The money raised through this Edible Books event will help TRANSIT offer more artists more chances to do their work. If you participate by making a book, you come in for free (if you want to let us know you plan on joining, so much the better). Tickets will be $10 at the door, $8 in advance (or more, if you’d like) through TRANSIT’s Paypal (give@transitresidency.org). Any donation for $8 or more between now and April 1st will serve as your ticket to eat!
