Dr. Rebecca Houze is a Professor of Art History at Northern Illinois University. Her research explores the intersection of art, design, culture, and commerce in the 19th and 20th centuries. During her visit to COD, Dr. Houze will give a lecture about her recent work on materiality and meaning at the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago.
