Boyfriends is pleased to announce BLACK BLOOD. BLACK TAR TRUTH. WHITE LIES, a solo exhibtion by Los Angeles based artist Marcel Alcalá.
Working between sculpture, performance, and painting, Alcalá dismantles boundaries of identity, place and meaning determined by the language, symbols and methodologies of politics, media and capitalism by confalting shared topical narratives with those of the personal and poetic.
