Jean Albano & Jon Cates: Let’s talk about ∞RE∆LITIES

The evening will be a conversational platform for Salazar-Caro and Cates to discuss the artists’ body of work on view and it’s relation to a broad, ever-shifting movement; the philosophies and underpinning mechanisms currently driving digital arts; as well as the current climate New Media and Digital Arts exists within the broader visual arts community – locally, nationally and globally. Jon Cates (MA ’09, Danube) is Chair of Film, Video, New Media and Animation at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Refreshments will be served.
