In this HATCH Projects exhibition, resident artists Noelle Allen, Brent Fogt and Nicholas Sagan explore personal topographies. New works embody re-imagined surveys of land, sky and entirely new vistas that represent each artists’ interpretation of the terrestrial, the celestial and the lived-in, largely imagined spaces of creation and existence.

Oscillating between micro and macro viewpoints, Brent Fogt’s work pays homage to sites of personal significance in his collaged rain drawings. These works, realized in their largest format to date, are connected with the artist’s fiber installation and works on paper, composing a dynamic constellation of Fogt’s practice. Noelle Allen’s ambitious installation features a forged world of organic-like forms that simultaneously bloom and wither. Nicholas Sagan’s prints of constructed constellations are viewpoints of a “fictitious astronomy that is not quite science fiction.”

This exhibition is organized by HATCH Projects curator-in-residence, MK Meador.
