For this screening Vienna based artist Magda Tothova selected 15 artists from 4 cities | Berlin | Glasgow | New York | Vienna |
Some of them, including herself, Antje Majewski, Juliane Solmsdorf, Alice Cohen, Katrin Plavcak, Mathilde ter Heijne and Delia Gonzales are part of the network ƒƒ (http://fffffff.org/).
Magda Tothova is also the co-publisher of the art magazines Chicago, Times, Plotter,…., Déjà Vu, Auto, and Rediviva (http://ztscrpt.net/).
Themes of the program include:
The concrete city | taking a long walk and talking with friends | flying female typwriters in futuristic booths | re-staging familiar moments between art and life | zooming in and out | words | protecting visions | new territory or colonies | power and control | a big snake | LA | an animal in the forest | flow.
