There are two motivations for this action; first is that Carolina, my partner, and I celebrate our reunion after 13 years of being geographically separated. Secondly, the intention of the void is part of my process. This concept refers to the space between two points, a space that contains energy and has the possibilities to generate mutability and changes.
In our case, an apple within a cube of ice that is suspended between two opposite poles is a metaphor of this contained energy in the intention of the void.

Burial Hymn is a seemingly endless circle of erased footsteps—ritual actions derived from verses of the ancient Indian text The Rig Veda. The artist sweeps away the traces of physicality in an infinite loop of meditation and monotony.

ROOMS continues their exploration of minimalist systems as ceremony with Ritual No. 6: The Whisperers, wherein performers carry out a ritual of movement created by the four beats of a metronome.
