ESS 40th Anniversary Celebration
@ Experimental Sound Studio
5925 N Ravenswood Ave, Chicago, IL 60660
Opening Saturday, October 17th, at 8PM
You’re invited to ESS’s 40th Anniversary Celebration! This is a free, day-long event at ESS featuring performers from the organization’s past and present, as well as drinks, food, and other fun surprises.
2026 marks ESS’s 40th year of operation, serving as the longest-running non-profit in the Midwest dedicated entirely to the sonic arts. This year also marks 20 years at our Edgewater space, so it felt fitting to plan an all-day, all-building party to commemorate four decades of ESS.
