In the sanctuary, watch an array of films that heat, morph, and cool into shape by artists who have shaped Chicago’s recent audiovisual landscape. Celebrate as six exhibitions close 9/20 from 2-6pm with screenings and music as part of Chicago Exhibition Week, 2026. Featuring:

“La Gola” (2024) by Diego Marcon, an artist and filmmaker who has exhibited at the Cannes Film Festival and the Renaissance Society. (22′ 22” digital video transferred from 35mm film, CGI animation, color, sound)

“Puppygirl” (2026), directed by Chicago-based Henry Hanson, which serves as the companion film to his “Dog Movie” that is streaming on the Criterion Channel. (55′)

“Head Over Heels” (2023) by NELLY DANSEN, winner of Best Narrative Film at the 31st Chicago Underground Film Festival. (47′)

“Gothico’s Quench” (2024) by Misael José Oquendo, who recently exhibited in Chicago at Tala. (11′ 57” Single-channel 4K Video, MP4 Stereo Sound)
Downstairs in the bar lounge and dance to beats by Cobra B.
