This October, FACETS’ acclaimed OPTICAL NOISE series presents The Revolution Is My Boyfriend: The Films of Bruce LaBruce, the most comprehensive American retrospective of internationally acclaimed filmmaker, writer, photographer, and Queercore pioneer Bruce LaBruce in more than a decade.
Running October 9–11 as part of FACETS’ OPTICAL NOISE series, the three-day retrospective pairs ten films spanning more than 30 years of LaBruce’s career with in-person conversations featuring acclaimed Chicago filmmaker Joe Swanberg, filmmaker Henry Hanson, actress Susanne Sachsse, and artist and professor Frédéric Moffet.
