The Ballerina: Figure Drawing at Buckingham Fountain

Bring a sketchbook and join us at the wood benches by Buckingham Fountain for a morning of figure drawing with a live ballerina.
We’ll meet at the fountain plaza and sketch a ballerina with the fountain and the South Loop skyline as the backdrop. All skill levels are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced artists. No instruction, no pressure; just draw, experiment, and enjoy the morning.
At 11:30 AM we’ll do a sketchbook throwdown, where everyone lays their sketchbooks out so we can walk around and see what everyone created.
Bring whatever supplies you’ve got: pencil, pen, charcoal, watercolor, iPad, or a full easel. Free art supplies courtesy of BLICK Art Materials (https://www.dickblick.com) and free coffee from Momentum Coffee, both while supplies last.
