Point Blank presents our next exhibition “Clutch” featuring Ryan Lee and Connor Totten.
Opening August 28 from 6pm – 10pm.
Paintings, sculptures, clothes, beer.
Ryan Lee (b. 2001, Sacramento, CA) is an artist currently based in Miami, FL. Lee recently completed a solo exhibition at QUEUE Gallery, Miami, including several works completed over the past 3 years. His paintings are primarily done with airbrush, and display scenes of surveillance, humor, isolation, uncanny realism, and absurdity. Lee received his MFA in Fine Arts from New York University (NYU) along with a BFA in Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC).
Connor Totten (B. 2005, St Petersburg, FL) is a Chicago based artist maintaining various practices in the mediums of sculpture, print media, and painting and drawing. His work is concerned with the ability and inability to understand access to information through objects and spaces, to attempt a universal understanding of knowing. Totten approaches his artistic practice with a background in fashion and costume design, graduating with an Associates degree in technical theatre from the Pinellas County Center for the Arts in 2023. Totten will be earning a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2027.
