Join us for the grand opening of DAWN OF DIGITAL—a gallery installation and sensory experience at Public Works Gallery.

To kick off the months long installation, we’re hosting a three-day event series celebrating the evolution of digital innovation, visual culture, and sonic history.
From cracked pixels to crashed software, this is a tribute to the stubborn magic of making art with machines that break promises. ️

FRIDAY, MAY 1 | 7PM – 11PM
“Dawn of Digital” Art Exhibition Opening
Art opening & party! The subtitle “Inconvenient Electronics & Things Made With Machines That Didn’t Want To” says it all. Running throughout the summer at Public Works Gallery. Featuring art and design from @someoddpilot, music from @someoddpilotrecords, and apparel drops. DJ sets by: @ritalukea & @ommen of @_pixelgrip_.

THURSDAY, APRIL 30 | 7PM – 10PM
Ableton Interactive Workshop & Showcase @fessgrandiose leads an interactive dive into the latest @ableton products. Whether you’re a gear head or just curious about the tech behind the tracks, come experiment with a world class music brand’s innovations in hardware.

SATURDAY, MAY 2 | 11AM – 2PM The Music Innovation Fair A curated expo of gear manufacturers, software devs, and tech innovators. Come meet the brands powering Chicago’s experimental scene. Music aficionado @jacobgivens will also join the party.
Public Works Gallery | 2141 W. North Ave, Wicker Park
Hosted by @someoddpilot and @publicworksgallery with lots of friends joining the fun.
Music event programming from @someoddpilotrecords will run throughout the exhibition’s residency in the gallery.
