Join us on Friday from 5pm-10pm for the 4th edition of the Penny Pinch Dutch Auction

VSG is thrilled to announce the return of the Penny Pinch Dutch Auction, with Chicago-based street artist Penny Pinch.

Featured in The New York Times & The Economist….

The exhibition will utilize a Dutch Auction format, commonly used for perishable goods, such as flowers, fish & produce…. almost never with art.

These paintings will be available for sale at the highest asking price first, followed by consecutive price drops until every work in the exhibition is sold. There is no price minimum or reserve.

This Week’s Schedule:
Thursday:
4pm: All items released online at the base price of $2,500
Gallery is open from 12-5pm for early viewing
Friday:
12pm: Gallery opens for viewing
5pm: OPENING BELL… Prices start to drop by $100 per hour, on the hour
5pm-10pm: Celebration at VSG… Join us and Stanford Economist Mark Tendall to celebrate the opening of Penny Pinch’s 4th Dutch Auction
10pm: Price drops pause overnight [All remaining items at $2,000]
Saturday:
9am: Price drops resume by $100 per hour on any remaining items
11am-6pm: Gallery is open for viewings
8pm: Price drops pause overnight [All remaining items at $800]
Sunday:
9am: Prices drops resume by $100 per hour
11am-4pm: Gallery is open for viewings
4pm: In the unlikely chance that any items are available, pricing in theory drops to $1

There is no minimum…. patrons can purchase any item at any time, whenever they feel comfortable. Once an item is sold, it’s gone, so risk it if you’d like or lock in early.
