“~ ZODIAC ~ Archetypes of the Psyche” is a group exhibition featuring Chicago based artists and curated by Kimberly Leja Atwood of Elephant Room Gallery. The exhibition will be on view at Blackbird Gallery and Framing, located at 4428 N Ravenswood Ave. from September 13th through November 2nd. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13th from 5 to 8pm and is free and open to the public.
“~ ZODIAC ~ Archetypes of the Psyche” invites twelve artists to interpret the zodiac signs through the lens of psychological archetypes rooted in the collective unconscious. Each artist contributes a work that is inspired by one of the twelve signs, offering a personal yet universally resonant exploration of identity and symbolism. The exhibition seeks to remove the layers of perception we hold of ourselves and others and reveal what connects us. Through a wide range of visual styles, these artists illuminate how introspection can become a path to empathy, connection and a richer understanding of our shared humanity.
Exhibiting artists are Cujo Dah, Delisha McKinney, Fantasía Ariel, Gabi Bozeman, Mike Monteleagre, Morgan Nicolette, Norma Ojeda, Rine Boyer, Shanna Zentner, Underseagravy, Zeye One and Zor Zor Zor.
