Shakkei: Artist Talk and Exhibition Tour

Opening Saturday, September 13th, from 1PM - 2PM

Exhibiting artists Mayumi Lake and Bob Faust lead a tour and discuss Shakkei, or ‘borrowed scenery’: the Japanese concept of incorporating existing environments into the creation of new ones. They share their thoughts about how the Shakkei principle has informed their artmaking and their process of collaboration for this exhibition.
