La Rentrée refers to the moment after summer holiday when schools, cultural institutions, and artists reawaken for a new season. A curatorial collaboration between SITE/less and DFBRL8R, this event features performance actions and a multi-channel video installation celebrating the a new year of aesthetic discovery. In the spirit of French Fluxus figures like Robert Filliou and Ben Vautier, artists who embraced play as a radical act, this event calls us to return to creative grit and DIY resourcefulness.
