WELTS! at Rhino Fest Theater Festival

Under the direction of London-based Julio Maria Martino, Charles Pike will perform WELTS!, the final installment of David Hauptschein’s notorious Frank Monologues. It’s a twisted, hilarious journey into the deep, dark heart of the American medical establishment. In this episode, Hauptschein’s alter ego, Frank, is suffering from an intractible condition of welts, In search of a cure, he consults world-renowned physician Dr. Blithel. WARNING: We are not issuing any trigger warnings for this show. However, be advised there may be an indecent act committed with a dental drill. And if you take your humor black, you will not be displeased. WELTS!
Rounding out the show will be Mitchell Jackson performing his sui generis monologue Bill the Pencil Craftsman. This event is part of Rhino Fest, Chicago’s longest running theater festival, so you’re invited to stick around and partake of more tasty theatrical offerings.
