Featuring Eldon Stephan, Kate Hassett, Marley Lyon, Reeves Beckley, and Connor Totten

Curated by Gia Theodoropoulos and Connor Totten

BODYBUILDER assembles material dialogues between metal, drawing, plaster sculptures, weavings, and photography to explore fragile themes of sexuality, race, and marginalization through the hostility of the internet culture. Hyper awareness of the self is possible due to the constant influx of media, and BODYBUILDER utilizes artistic physicality in order to create a didactic critique of contemporary discourse with hybridity, adaptability, and resistance.
