Chicago Printers Guild Guided Tour: All for Print. Print for All. Part of CPG’s Sweet Sixteen Celebration

ALL are welcome to join the Chicago Printers Guild for a guided tour of “All for Print. Print for All. Archiving 16 Years of the Chicago Printers Guild” at Harold Washington Library Center’s 9th floor gallery on Friday, July 19 at 2 PM. This landmark exhibition celebrates the CPG’s Sweet Sixteen with hundreds of prints, zines, posters, and ephemera hand-selected from the CPG Archive.

The July 19 tour will feature members of the Guild’s board and curation team as they guide attendants through the exhibition and share behind-the-scenes insights into the collective’s history, print practices, and stories behind featured works.

Guests are welcome to arrive early to attend the Chicago Zine Fest, which will be hosted in just down the hall in Harold Washington Library’s iconic Winter Garden from 11-4 pm.

This event, along with the Chicago Zine Fest, is free and open to the public.

The Chicago Printers Guild was organized in 2009, and we’re celebrating our Sweet Sixteen all year at the Harold Washington Library! Starting this Friday, ALL are welcome to join us in the 9th floor gallery to view “All for print. Print for all. Archiving 16 Years of the Chicago Printers Guild.” This brand new exhibition features hundreds of hand-selected prints and ephemera from the CPG Archive. Stay tuned for info about upcoming guided tours and activations, and shoutout to our entire CPG board, curation team, and pals at CPL for bringing it all together!

The Exhibition will run from May 30 to January 5, 2026

Monday to Thursday: 9:00AM – 8:00PM
Friday and Saturday: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Sunday: 1:00PM – 5:00PM
