Monday, July 29, 7:30 p.m. | This event marks the 10th Annual Advertising Community Night, a gathering and screening that showcases the innovative storytelling skills within our dynamic Advertising Community. With 11 exceptional works, the event celebrates the artistry of featured industry professionals who come together and share the magic of creative storytelling with their distinct passion projects.

SCHEDULE

All programming is scheduled to occur at The Gene Siskel Film Center, with the exception of the After-Party being held at the Emerald Loop Bar & Grill. 6:30 pm – Networking Reception
At 6:30 pm the evening kicks off with a Networking Reception, where everyone can settle in, enjoy concessions and mingle with all in attendance in the theater’s lobby. Community Spotlight panelists will be present, at their designated tables, ahead of the theater presentation for lively conversations.

7:30 pm – Community Spotlight
Doors to the theater open and we transition to our Community Spotlight, a panel discussion, featuring Nicole Yelsey of KindWorks.AI and Dani Jackson-Smith of The Cre8tors. This informative conversation, moderated by our Operations Director, NK Gutiérrez, will explore the positive contributions of these organizations, helping to guide our industry towards kindness and creative fulfillment.

7:55 pm – Film Screening
The program will feature 11 fantastic pieces highlighting the talents of all creators involved. The work includes music videos, commercial work, short films – different genres and styles telling compelling stories meant to be experienced on the big screen.

9:25 pm – Filmmaker Q&A
The post show discussion will call the creators behind the work of the evening to the stage, to provide valuable insight to their visions. This month, our Filmmaker Q&A will be moderated by Dani Jackson-Smith, Founder The Cre8tors.

10:30 pm – After Party
The night caps off with an After-Party at Emerald Loop Bar & Grill, 216 N. Wabash Ave. Enjoy food and beverages while you keep the conversation going with filmmakers, and community members.
