A Pop-Up Exhibit Featuring Photography Documenting Chicago’s Lowrider Culture
Learn more about the 112-page photo retrospective book that documents Chicago’s thriving lowrider community through the lens of 14 photographers. The project showcases a photographic archive documenting twelve years of Slow & Low’s events and festivals.
This book was independently published by Slow & Low, bringing our story to life through the design work of Nick Adam’s team at Span.
Photographers featured in the new Slow & Low retrospective book are Carmen Ordonez, Carolina Sánchez, Don’t Get Shot, Edward Magico Calderon, Fernando Ruiz, Katrina Nelken, Manuel Lagunas, Manuel Velasco, Max Herman, Mike Pocious, Nick Lipton, Peter Kepha, Sebastián Hildalgo, and Nick Adam.
