Maryann Held is a Philadelphia area based artist, maker, and craftsperson. Her work is inspired by folk art, including PA Dutch and illuminated manuscripts, as well as her lifelong fascination with zoology and biology. At times brightly intricate, and others darkly surreal, her work explores her relationship between the beautiful and the macabre.

Join us for the opening reception for an evening of art viewing with drinks sponsored by Metropolitan Brewing. Maryann’s paintings and prints will be on sale during the show.
