@ Hofheimer Gallery

4839 N Damen Ave, Chicago, IL 60625

Opening Saturday, October 3rd, from 1PM - 5PM

On view through Friday, October 30th

Please join us at Hofheimer Gallery for the Opening Reception of George Klauba’s new series “American Tattoo in the Greasy Grass.”

This series is a commemoration of the wild west in imagination, but also in truth between the Indigenous and European peoples. Greasy Grass was the name the Indians had for Little Big Horn, the site of battle where the Sioux and Cheyenne annihilated General George Armstrong Custer and the 7th Cavalry in June of 1876; where men wore red and blue, rode across the plains, and were buried in blood.

There will be a limit of people allowed inside the gallery. Please remember to practice social distancing. Face mask required.

Private appointments are available!
