This group workshop acknowledges the anxiety, fear, and grief due to COVID-19. By understanding our physiological responses, we can learn to manage our responses in this unsettling time.

Workshop Objectives – During the workshop, participants will be presented with the following concepts and ideas:

Understanding stress and its impact on your creative practice, relationships, and professional development.

Understand how individual personality traits impact creativity.

A personal definition of mental wellness and how to develop strategies for reaching an optimal state of mental health.

Reducing stressors, the fight or flight response, and the relationship between stress and illness.

The procedural specifics of the 6 major approaches to relaxation and stress reduction.

Learn exercises to develop mindfulness in daily life.
