Familial and cultural histories live in our cells, shifting in expression and form, but ever-present. This program of works celebrates making and unmaking—through their work these artists give strength, admiration, and love to their communities, friends, families, and fellow creators across time and medium. Their presence in the works appears apparation-like; shining light not on one person or group, but the energy surrounding them.
