Opening Thursday, December 19th, from 6PM - 9PM
Cheers to 9 years! Join us for a special pre-event reception to celebrate Grown Folks Stories’ 9-year anniversary. We’d love to have you, the brave storytellers, there as we toast to hundreds of unrehearsed stories about our community, told by our community – giving us the real stories we live everyday. Light snacks, refreshments, and cool vibes provided.
The GreenLight Series presents Grown Folks Stories, created by Cara Brigandi and Eric Williams, founder and owner of The Silver Room. Grown Folks Stories is two hours of five minute stories that range from the hilarious to the absolutely somber. Come join this ever-popular gathering of nonprofessional, unrehearsed storytellers, who give us the real stories we live everyday. There is no theme, no judging, no poetry, no readings. It’s storytelling that you’ve never experienced before. Hosted by Whitney Capps
Free and open to the public. Age 18+. Suggested $5 donation. Doors open and signups start at 6:30pm. Storytelling starts at 7pm. Seating in the theatre is first-come, first-served.
