Join us to celebrate the opening of Madison Alexander’s exhibition, Cabinet of Curiosities on November 7, 2019, 4 PM – 6 PM

Cabinet of Curiosities is a traditional museum-like display of the personal artifacts of strangers and the artist herself, mixed with an immersive installation to put you inside the intimate life of the working poor. Using the Field Museum as a display template, Madison’s work aims to invoke empathy for a way of life many may not understand, and personally reflects on the objects and what memories they may spark in the viewer
