How do we address the relationship between architecture and the environment?

As part of the Chicago Architecture Biennial Talk Series, this FREE panel seeks to bring culture, design, policy, advocacy and technological perspectives together in a discussion that addresses multiple dimensions of the climate crisis — bridging disciplines, professions and fields of knowledge, and ultimately including and motivating the broader public to address this global issue.

Speakers include Kimberly Dowdell, Director of Business Development, HOK; Andrew Broderick, Senior Associate, Perkins & Will; and Shay Bahramirad, Vice President- Engineering and Smart Grid, ComEd. The discussion will be moderated by James Schulte, Director, Exelorate Growth, Exelon. This program is co-presented with Exelon.

The Biennial Talk Series brings together cultural leadership locally and globally, connecting topical ideas in architecture such as housing affordability and urbanism to arts, culture, and design. Typically held on Tuesday evenings in Claudia Cassidy Theater (at the Chicago Cultural Center), these free programs are organized by the Biennial and presented in collaboration with Biennial partners and sponsors. Stay tuned for more events in November.
