This workshop 3-part series as part of a new podcast Haydee will be launching in the fall tentatively titled “What Hasn’t Been Said”. This is a storytelling and creative hub podcast that will put the creative, emotional, and testimonies of queer, trans people of color writers and storytellers to the front.
This 3-part series will ask participants to creative stories/creative work, along with conversations on selected themes that with permission, will be recorded as a digital archive of what had finally been given the space to be heard.
Participants will take part in creative writing exercises (zero cost), light movement work to generate creative work, and meal shares and conversations about what has been discovered through creative imagination.
Haydee R. Souffrant is a Chicago-based Haitian American creator and educator whose works weave
performance, critical race and radical healing theory to probe the intersections of trauma healing and cultural
memory through storytelling and creative writing.
