Summer Tuesdays come alive on the MCA’s Anne and John Kern Terrace Garden with free music highlighting artists from Chicago’s internationally renowned jazz community. Rising Chicago jazz pianist Julius Tucker is joined by Neil Hemphill on drums and Jeremiah Hunt on bass.

Julius Tucker is a recent graduate of Northwestern University. He pursued a double major in jazz piano at NU’s Bienen School of Music and civil engineering at its McCormick School of Engineering. Tucker has been studying piano for almost 16 years and has been blessed to share these years with many musicians and mentors that have carved his musical voice.
