Join us for the release of Thomas Holton’s new poetry chapbook and short film project, Warm Numb, Jagged Spiral, Hey Teddy! along with Vera Blossom.
Through 15 poems and an accompanying short film, Thomas Holton reckons with nostalgia, transition, shame, friendship, and his complicated home state of Florida. These surrealist vignettes capture the highs and lows of an emotional spiral — the cathartic explosions of feeling and the quiet mornings that follow.
Thomas Holton is a Florida-born writer and poet based in Chicago. His poems and short stories have appeared in Red Ogre Review, hu the zine, Oyez Review, Ink in Thirds, WREATH, and Written On a Napkin. He writes the Substack newsletter, “Does it Swim?”, and his debut poetry chapbook and short film, “Warm Numb, Jagged Spiral, Hey Teddy!” is now available for pre-order.
Vera Blossom is the author of How To Fuck Like a Girl from Dopamine press. She is a proud Filipina, a trans femme monster, and a Virgo. Thomas Holton is one of her best friends.
