Nov 14th 2025

See you Friday, November 14th for The Wild: Marshall Square Sculpture Project Exhibition!

Since 2017, artists from OPEN Center for the Arts have partnered with Lincoln Park Zoo on The Wild Project — an ongoing collaboration that connects 4-, 5-, and 6-year-olds with zoo scientists to explore endangered species through discussion, role play, drawing, and sculpture design.

The sculptures featured in this exhibition were created from children’s drawings made during the 2017, 2018, and 2019 editions of the project. For the first time ever, all ten life-sized sculptures will be shown together — each one reminding us of our connection to, and impact on, endangered species.

This free exhibition continues OPEN’s commitment to accessible art and community engagement.

Join us Friday, November 14th from 4–8 PM for an evening of art, entertainment, and light bites as we celebrate these young artists and their creativity!
