We met the wind before. It took on human form, walking the streets of Chicago in plain clothes and humble appearance. They were a bit elusive but had a great sense of clarity and direction. They were kind and gracious, asking for nothing in return.
We have decided to let the wind guide our next exhibition. Using elements of chance and coincidence as curation methods we have invited a group of 25 artists to create a series of wind chimes that will be installed on Mayfield’s perimeter. Through this ges-ture, we will amplify the wind’s voice in order to see what it has to say.
