In Having Designs On… A Body of Work, George Blaha explores the purpose, function, and meaning of decorating a space by importing and superimposing designs created in the virtual realm of digital space onto our consensual reality. This exhibition invites viewers to engage with the interplay between the virtual and the tangible, prompting reflection on how we project our interpretations onto the world around us. Through innovative compositions generated via CGI tools, Blaha transforms the gallery into a canvas of collective human expression, inviting contemplation on our innate desire to decorate and imbue meaning into our environments.
