Moderated by v Terra Cotta
This panel brings together curator Caroline Ng with Chinese American Museum of Chicago, artist Aram Han Sifuentes with HANA Center, and arts educator Sarah Ross with Walls Turned Sideways to explore how community-based arts projects organize, heal, and build power across Chicago communities, especially when backed by unrestricted funding. From Korean protest banners and queer Chinese American storytelling to arts education inside prisons, these projects reimagine what justice and healing can look like through art.
