Join us as we explore the city, seeking inspiration through our lenses. Bring your camera, as we observe the city’s architecture, nature, motion, and pulse. Participants will be given a list of compositional elements to photograph, such as signage, motion, symmetry, contrast, etc., with an emphasis on visual communication.

Before our event, we’ll send a guide with the exact meeting location near the Art Institute of Chicago.

What to expect

  • 2-hour photography exploration through Chicago’s downtown
  • Photography guide card with compositional elements to capture
  • All skill levels welcome – bring your film camera, DSLR, or smartphone
  • An optional social gathering afterward for drinks, food, and photo sharing
