It’s Weird That Eggs Were Ever Cheap (Closing)

3416 W Augusta Blvd, Chicago, IL 60651
Opening Saturday, May 24th, from 7PM - 11PM

Art Exhibition closing accompanied with music performances.
What began as a viral question—“How many likes can this egg get?”—now resonates in a moment where everyday essentials reflect shifting notions of value and access.
This exhibition brings the clout economy into physical space: from likes to dollars, from digital spectacle to material exchange. Inspired by Annie Lowrey’s provocation in The Atlantic, we ask:
Isn’t it weird that eggs were ever cheap?
Proceeds support the buildout of Bodock’s studio, workshop, exhibition space, and nonprofit incorporation of Bodock and Propagate Cooperative.
