What began as a viral questionββHow many likes can this egg get?ββnow resonates in a moment where everyday essentials reflect shifting notions of value and access.
This exhibition brings the clout economy into physical space: from likes to dollars, from digital spectacle to material exchange. Inspired by Annie Lowreyβs provocation in The Atlantic, we ask:
Isnβt it weird that eggs were ever cheap?
Proceeds support the buildout of Bodockβs studio, workshop, exhibition space, and nonprofit incorporation of Bodock and Propagate Cooperative.
