Join us for an evening of dialogue with artists from Don’t Make Photographs, Think Them and librarian Mackenzie Salisbury, as we explore the ways research lives outside of traditional systems. Part panel, part open conversation, this program will blur the lines between studio practice, embodied knowledge, and unconventional archives. Together, we’ll reflect on what counts as research, where it resides, and how artists and cultural workers can reimagine it on their own terms.

Mackenzie Salisbury is the Information Literacy Librarian at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is interested in disrupting traditional models of instruction through creative practice, and actively works to re-imagine what it means to be a librarian through collaboration and outreach with the art community.
