PK Parties were wildly popular in California during the 1980’s. Stanford Research Institute Scientists were experimenting with remote viewing when it was theorized that, if you create a very excited “party” environment, you can get paranormal activity to happen INSTANTLY.

This theory was tested and proven with 19,000 PK (Spoon Bending) Party participants over a 10-year period, with an 85% success rate.

“It was like putty in my hands”, said one woman after twisting a solid steel fork like it were soft pretzel dough, because, for 5 to 30 seconds, the microscopic grain boundaries in the metal heat up to the point of collapsing, and that’s when you can form them into any shape you like. 19 of 21 people did exactly this at the very first PK Party in January of 1980.

There will be a maximum of 28 people at this spoon bending party.

Ideally, the PK Party will be made up of:

25% kids at least 6 to 7 years of age (and their parents of course)

25% older people, 70+

25% energy workers (psychics, “healers”, etc.)

25% regular, everyday open-minded people

Come with the idea that we’re going to have a party, with lots of excitement, pandemonium, hip-hip hooraying! Gotta create that peak emotional event.

Plenty of FREE PARKING right in front of the gallery at 3040 N. Ashland, and around the corners of Nelson St. & Barry Ave., one street north and south of the gallery.

CTA #77 Belmont & #9 Ashland buses STOP within steps of the gallery. The #77 Belmont Bus stops at Ashland Ave., and the #9 Ashland Bus stops at Wellington Ave., which is 3000 N., and we’re at 3040 N. Ashland.

CTA Brownline “Paulina” Station is 0.5 miles from the gallery (Turn right when exiting the Paulina Brownline Station, follow Lincoln Ave. south to 6-corners (Belmont/Lincoln/Ashland), and go south on Ashland to 3040 N.

CTA Redline & Brownline Belmont Station is a mile away, and accessible to the CTA #77 Belmont Bus. (Take bus west to Ashland, walk south on Ashland a few hundred feet past Barry Ave. to 3040 N. Ashland. across the street from The Art of Pizza).
