Dec 21st 2024

Join us at the National Museum of Mexican Art for an artist talk and art market in conjunction with the Ruidosa Art Collective’s exhibition, Visones de Guadalupe.

Visiones de Guadalupe, now on display at the Pilsen Arts & Community House, is the Ruidosa Art Collective’s third annual exhibition on La Virgen de Guadalupe and celebrates the anniversary of her apparitions on the Hill of Tepeyac in what is now the suburbs of Mexico City, as well as her place in Mexican identity and faith. The work of each artist in the exhibition depicts La Virgen de Guadalupe or alludes to concepts that are associated with her, including chicanismo, motherhood, femininity, and/or Mexicanidad.
