Land Stories Workshop with Linke Fligl Legacy @ Hairpin Art Center (2810 N Milwaukee Ave in Chicago)
Full of song, reflection, ritual, and lineage exploration, this workshop is great for Jewish communities interested in indigenous sovereignty, reparations, ancestral healing and connection. Participants explore personal relationships with land through a “Land Stories” practice, a ritual for sharing & witnessing our complex & evolving stories of loss, connection, home, & quest for accountable relationship with place. From there, we will screen the minidocumentary capturing 7 years of communal work towards right relationship with land at Linke Fligl, a queer Jewish chicken farm & cultural organizing project on Schaghticoke land (NY).
In partnership with: Jewish Museum of Chicago, Pushcart Judaica, the Lace Midrash, Hairpin Art Center, and ACRE Projects
Accessibility: Specific access information will be sent out to registrants for each workshop. All spaces are wheelchair accessible and masks are required. Please email info@pushcartjudaica.com with any questions.
Registration Closes: Monday, September 2
