Aug 12th 2024

We couldn’t pass up this opportunity to team up with Bri Beck for this incredible workshop. Please join us on August 12th, from 6-8pm for Incongruent Access: A facilitated community conversation surrounding the nuanced challenges of cross disability access in personal, professional, and communal spaces.

We are Bri Beck and Matt Bodett, both Disabled people and professionals navigating our disability identity and individual access needs in a variety of settings just like many of you. We have proposed this gathering based on our individual challenges of self disclosure and accessibility, but also the challenges of meeting our own needs while also supporting fellow disabled people when our access needs become incongruent with one another.

We believe that as a disability community, we are ready for a dynamic conversation that goes beyond individual accessibility, but that opens up a dialogue which acknowledges the inherent tensions and challenges of creating fully safe and accessible cross disability spaces and relationships.

If you personally resonate with what has been shared and would like to participate in this dialogue, we invite you to join us for an important community conversation.

SPACE IS VERY LIMITED – please use the Google Form in the links in our bio to reserve your spot. Due to limited space only 16 participants can be accepted.
