Candi X Presents: Eco-Somatic Playground Workshop

Candi X is a performance and video artist, facilitator, experience designer, producer, and director. She is originally from Portland and is currently based in Mexico City. Her brightly queer and colorful creations, which are rooted in deep research, explore the eco-erotic relationship between the human and natural world. All of her works are equal parts accessible, embodied, intellectual, and silly – redefining the erotic by igniting the sensorial imagination. Through playful, body-based experiences, performances, films, workshops, and practices, she facilitates fun, connection, and curiosity that opens audiences up to new perspectives.

We all live as part of a big web of life in which everything is connected. This includes us, our bodies, and the living world around us, such as plants and animals. In this fun and practical workshop, we will utilize body-based practices to reawaken our senses and remember our direct connection with the many life forms around us.
