ARTIST RECEPTION FOR IN SITU PROJECTS and PANEL DISCUSSION

Join us this Saturday, August 17th at 1801 W Hubbard Street in celebrating site-specific projects by MAKING TIME artists Stephen Eichhorn, Juan Chavez, and Jacqueline Surdell, along with Kristoffer McAfee’s five-panel work, Universal Identity, adapted for the DNC commission, Ether/And. It is featured as part of a moving mural “Track(ed) Changes” a project curated by Bob Faust and recently featured in the New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/2024/08/12/arts/design/chicago-art-trains-elections.html?unlocked_article_code=1.Ck4.60dU.tcW1IFX9toXZ&smid=url-share)

Luke Batten, an artist and Associate Professor of Photography at the University of Illinois, will lead the panel discussion.
