Borders Cruzadas is a long-term visual narrative project by photojournalists and 2023-2024 Dammeyer Fellows Oscar B. Castillo and Wil Sands. The 2023-2024 Dammeyer exhibition featuring Borders Cruzadas is a culmination of work that compiles documentary photography, research, and conversations to present both the physical and the symbolic boundaries that form Americaโ€™s borders.

Borders Cruzadas is presented in collaboration with the Pueblo Unido Gallery (PUG) and Centro Romero. Castillo and Sands have work on view in a companion exhibition at Pueblo Unido Gallery.
